West River Westies returns to Bald Mountain Family Campground July 11-13, 2025. Our group campout attracts over 100 iconic Volkswagen Buses, Vanagons, and Eurovans from the 1960’s through the early 2000’s, as well as other vintage Volkswagen models. Camping and Volkswagen enthusiasts are invited to join in for a just a day or the whole weekend! Reservations are not needed, and we never run out of space!
Over the years, we have been fortunate to raise funds for the Grace Cottage Critical Access Hospital. In 2024, West River Westies campers raised $2,930 making the cumulative donation over $24,000.
When arriving to Bald Mountain Family Campground, please first check-in at the campground office. You will be issued a park pass to hang on your rearview mirror. Please visit the camp hosts before settling in at your site. We look forward to seeing you floating down the river, enjoying a drink, making music and memories with friends old and new!
